Epiphora
Abnormal overflow of tears onto the eyelid margin and face, distinct from physiological lacrimation associated with emotional crying. Common causes are failure in the drainage system (nasolacrimal duct obstruction, ectropion, entropion, facial palsy) or overproduction (enviromental irritants/dust/smoke, allergic reactions, blepharitis, conjunctivitis, dry eye syndrome, foreign objects, trauma, chemotherapy).
