Hyperactive bowel sounds

Abnormally frequent, loud, often high-pitched intestinal noises produced by increased gastrointestinal motility and movement of gas and fluid within the bowel lumen. Possible causes are digestion of high-fiber foods, lactose intolerance, diarrhea, gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or early/partial intestinal obstruction.
