Hypersonor bowel sounds

Excessively loud, resonant, often high-pitched intestinal auscultatory findings, reflecting markedly increased intraluminal gas and heightened bowel motility. Typically associated with conditions such as early mechanical obstruction, diarrhea, gastroenteritis, food allergy/intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome, or inflammatory bowel disease.
