Pulsus bisferiens
An arterial pulse contour characterized by a single systolic pulse wave with two distinct systolic peaks separated by a midsystolic dip, typically palpated in peripheral arteries. Associated with mixed aortic valve disease, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, and high-output states (anemia, patent ductus arteriosus, arteriovenous fistula).
