Thickened rugae
Hypertrophic enlargement of normal mucosal folds in the gastric body. Possible causes are Ménétrier disease, infection (H. pylori, CMV), malignancy (gastric cancer, lymphoma), chronic gastritis (NSAIDs), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Crohn's disease or amyloidosis.
