Double duct sign

Radiologic sign characterized by simultaneous dilatation of both the main pancreatic duct and the contiguous intrapancreatic common bile duct, typically indicating a periampullary or pancreatic head obstructive process.

  • Malignancy

    • Pancreatic cancer

    • Ampullary cancer

    • Cholangiocarcinoma

    • Lymphoma

    • Metastasis

  • Inflammatory causes

    • Choledocholithiasis

    • Chronic pancreatitis

  • Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction

  • Ampullary stenosis
