Enophthalmos

A posterior displacement of the eyeball within the bony orbit, producing a sunken ocular appearance. Possible causes are orbital trauma, aging (orbital fat atrophy), silent sinus syndrome, scarring/fibrosis (surgery, scleroderma), malignancy, and congenital factors.
