Fothergill's sign

A localized abdominal mass that is located within the abdominal wall rather than inside the abdominal cavity. It remains palpable, unchanged in position, and does not cross the midline during both relaxation and active contraction of the rectus abdominis muscles. Typically indicates a rectus sheath hematoma.
