Moon face

Facial swelling and rounded/puffy facial appearance due to abnormal fat deposition in the cheeks and temporal fossae. Possible causes are hypercortisolism (Cushing syndrome), systemic glucocorticoid therapy, hypothyroidism, obesity, allergic reaction, or kidney failure (nephrotic syndrome).
