Reticulocytosis

An increased number of circulating reticulocytes in peripheral blood, reflecting accelerated erythropoiesis, typically in response to hemorrhage, hemolysis (autoimmune, sickle cell), or recovery from nutritional deficiency (iron, vitamin B12, folate), recovery from marrow suppression, EPO therapy, exposure to high altitude, and pregnancy.
