Stria

Narrow, linear, and often slightly depressed bands on the skin resulting from disruption and thinning of the dermal connective tissue, typically secondary to rapid tissue expansion (obesity, hypertrophy, pregnancy), endocrine disorders (hypercortisolism), systemic corticosteroid therapy, and genetic disorders (Marfan syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome).
