Synechia

Pathologic adhesion between normally separate adjacent anatomical structures, classically involving adherence of the iris to the cornea or lens. Possible causes causes are uveitis/iritis, eye trauma, post surgery, eye infection, and glaucoma. Other types of synechiae are uterine, vulvar, nasal or vocal synechia.
