TSH receptor antibodies

Autoantibodies that target the thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (positive: >1.0 to >3.3 IU/L). They are found in Graves' disease (where they stimulate the receptor to cause hyperthyroidism) and in Hashimoto's thyroiditis (where they block the receptor to cause hypothyroidism).
