Symptom
Urinary hesitancy
Difficulty initiating or sustaining micturition, characterized by delayed onset of urine stream, reduced or intermittent urinary flow, and possible incomplete bladder emptying. Possible causes are BPH, cystocele, pelvic floor dysfunction, urethral stricture, prostatitis, urinary tract infection, bladder/kidney stones, severe constipation, neurological disorders (multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, stroke), medications (decongestants/vasoconstrictors, antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants, incontinence drugs), and psychological anxiety.
