Uvula deviation

An abnormal lateral displacement of the uvula from the midline, typically observed during phonation. Possible naurological causes are vagus nerve palsy, herpes zoster neuritis, stroke, and local anesthetic injection. Secondary mechanical causes are peritonsillar abscess, tosillitis, and tumor.
