Decreased HDL

Dyslipidemia characterized by abnormally low serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) concentrations (<40 mg/dL for men and <50 mg/dL for women), reducing reverse cholesterol transport capacity to remove excess cholesterol from the arteries and associated with increased atherosclerotic cardiovascular risk.
