Increased appetite

An abnormally elevated drive to eat, with heightened hunger signals and increased desire for food intake relative to metabolic requirements. Often associated with various endocrine conditions (diabetes mellitus, hypoglycemia, hyperthyroidism), medications (prednisone, antidepressants, antipsychotics, cannabis), neurologic conditions (Prader-Willi syndrome, hypothalamic signaling pathways), psychiatric conditions (sress, anxiety, atypical depression), and lifestyle factors (lack of sleep, dehydration, low fiber diet, pregnancy).
