Oculomotor nerve palsy

A dysfunction of the third cranial nerve causing paresis or paralysis of extraocular muscles, typically producing ptosis, lateral ocular deviation, diplopia, and enlarged pupil. Possible causes are microvascular nerve ischemia due to diabetes, intracranial aneurysm, head trauma, brain tumor, and meningitis.
