Postvoid dribbling

The involuntary leakage of residual urine from the urethra shortly after completion of micturition, typically occurring when the patient has stood up or left the toilet, despite apparently adequate bladder emptying. Possible causes are weak pelvic floor muscles, BPH, urethral diverticulum, neurologic bladder dysfunction, urethral stricture, coughing, obesity, chronic constipation, and previous pelvic/prostate surgery.
