Symptom
Incomplete voiding
Subjective sensation that the bladder has not been completely emptied after micturition, often associated with increased postvoid residual urine, impaired detrusor contractility, or bladder outlet obstruction. Possible causes are BPH, prolapse (bladder, uterus, bowel), urethral stricture, constipation, atonic bladder, overactive pelvic floor, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, herniated disc, diabetic neuropathy, and medications (opioids, antihistamines, muscle relaxants and antidepressants).
