Decreased Haptoglobin
Subnormal serum haptoglobin concentration (<0.3 g/L), typically reflecting accelerated intravascular hemolysis with increased free plasma hemoglobin–haptoglobin complex clearance.

Liver disease with reduced hepatic haptoglobin synthesis
Blood transfusion
Hematoma
Intramedullary hemolysis
Elevated estrogen states
Pregnancy

Congenital haptoglobin deficiency
