Eosinophilia

An abnormal increase in circulating eosinophils (≥500/μL). Often associated with allergic diseases (allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis), parasitic infections (roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms), certain autoimmune disorders (eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis, IBD), drug reactions (antibiotics, anti-seizure, NSAIDs), and hematologic or solid organ malignancies.
