Postprandial fullness
An unpleasant sensation of persistent gastric distension and prolonged intragastric retention of food occurring after a meal, disproportionate to meal size and not relieved by normal gastric emptying. Commonly seen in functional dyspepsia, gastroparesis, medications (opioids, NSAIDs, antibiotics), GERD, gastritis, H.pylori infection, and stress/anxiety.
