Smoking
Habitual inhalation and exhalation of smoke from burning tobacco (cigarettes, cigars, pipes) or other plant material, resulting in systemic nicotine exposure and increased risk of cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neoplastic disease. Possible causes are nicotine addiction, stress management, social conditioning, and psychological triggers.
