Hemoperitoneum

Presence or accumulation of blood within the peritoneal cavity, usually due to intra-abdominal organ or vascular injury. Possible causes are trauma, ruptured ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cyst rupture, ruptured abdominal aneurysm (aorta, liver, kidney, spleen, mesentery), bleeding cancer, anticoagulants, hemophilia, and acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis.
