Symptom
Orthopnea
Shortness of breath that occurs when lying flat and is relieved by sitting or standing. It is classically associated with left-sided heart failure, pulmonary congestion/edema, COPD, obesity, diaphragmatic paresis, ascites, sleep apnea, severe asthma, and pneumonia.
