Decreased Uric Acid
A serum urate concentration below the lower limit of the reference range.
Men: 4.0–8.5 mg/dL or 240–510 µmol/L
Women: 2.7–7.3 mg/dL or 160–430 µmol/L
Causes
Liver disease --> Reduced urate production
Increased renal urate loss
Genetic disorders
Medications: Allopurinol, SGLT2 inhibitors
