ST elevation

An electrocardiographic abnormality in which the ST segment (at the J point) is displaced above the isoelectric baseline (≥1-2 mm). Typically reflecting acute transmural myocardial infarction, pericarditis, physiologic benign early repolarization, left ventricular hypertrophy, ventricular aneurysm, Brugada syndrome, coronary vasospasm, hyperkalemia, pulmonary embolism, myocarditis, and hypothermia.
