Photophobia

An abnormal intolerance to light, characterized by ocular or cephalic discomfort or pain provoked or exacerbated by usual levels of illumination. Frequently associated with migraine, traumatic brain injury, meningitis, dry eye syndrome, corneal abrasion/ulcer/foreign body, ocular inflammation (uveitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis), aniridia (absence of the iris), albinism, cataracts, medications (tetracycline, antihistamines, antidepressants, antipsychotics), and drugs causing pupillary dilation (amphetamine, cocaine).
