Hepatomegaly

An abnormal enlargement of the liver beyond normal dimensions, detectable clinically or by imaging. Possible causes are steatotic liver disease, hepatitis, liver abscess, infectious mononucleosis, heart failure, Budd-Chiari syndrome, and tumors (cyst, hemangioma, adenoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, metastasis).
