Myalgia

Focal or diffuse pain, aching, soreness, or tenderness of the skeletal muscle. Arising from diverse etiologies including muscle overuse, trauma, misuse (poor posture), infection (flu, EBV, Lyme disease), inflammatory myopathies, drug-induced muscle injury (statins, ACE inhibitors), systemic illness (SLE, rheumatoid arthritis, hypothyroidism), and fibromyalgia.
