Headache

Pain or discomfort localized to the cranial vault that may present as acute, recurrent, or chronic cephalalgia of variable intensity and quality. Possible causes are enviromental triggers (stress, dehydration, skipping meals/caffeine, red wine, processed meat, sleep deprivation, oversleeping, sleep apnea, bright sunlight, strong perfumes, loud noises) or medical illness (common cold, flu, sinusitis, medication overuse, uncorrected vision due to myopia/astigmatism, temporomandibular joint disorders, menstrual cycle, pregnancy, menopause).
